Stop forcing yourself to hustle harder
On Thursday 17 April, I’ll be yapping about goals.

Today’s spotlight
Stop forcing yourself to hustle harder. If pushing non-stop actually worked, more people would be hitting their goals.
Only 8% of people actually achieve their New Year’s resolutions (University of Scranton). And it’s not because they’re lazy, it’s because they’re doing too much, too fast, with no real strategy.
Here’s what actually works:
Focus on less. Trying to tackle everything at once leads to getting nowhere. Pick one goal and go all in.
Say no more often. If it’s not aligned with your priorities, it’s a distraction. Protect your time.
Adjust instead of quitting. If your goal isn’t working, don’t quit. Tweak it. Maybe the deadline is unrealistic. Maybe the approach needs to change.
Track small wins. Studies show that recognizing small progress boosts long-term motivation. Success isn’t about one big leap but consistent steps forward.
You don’t need to be in constant overdrive to get where you want to go. Work smarter, cut the fluff, and be honest with yourself.
Happy Monday x
On Thursday 17 April, I’ll be yapping about goals. How to approach them, what to do and what not to do.
We’re starting the second quarter of the year, and it’s not too late to get back on track.
