I just hit 10,000 followers

and I'm sharing all my LinkedIn secrets

Today’s spotlight

I just hit 10,000 followers.

Which is wild, because I still remember having 42 connections and no clue how LinkedIn actually worked.

Now I get DMs like:

“How did you build your LinkedIn profile?”
“I really like your content”

And as a thank you, I want to share with you how to build your LinkedIn profile.

If you’re still reading this, I want to let you know that.

You’re not doing anything wrong.
But the reason you’re not gaining the right visibility from recruiters or certain connections is that you look like everyone else.

You’ve done the courses.
You’ve changed your headline.
You’ve even posted a few pictures or carousels with hooks and emojis.

But no one’s stopping to read it.

Because you haven’t figured out how to stand out. In a way that feels like you.

This platform isn’t just about having a profile.
It’s about having a presence.

And that starts with how you position yourself.

So here are a couple of tips I’ve tried and practised:

Your headline is not your job title.
It’s your pitch.
What do you actually do for people? Lead with that.
(Thanks, Justin Welsh.)

Your about section isn’t a CV.
It’s a conversation starter.
Write it like you're talking to a real person.

Your banner is a billboard.
Use that space.
Call out what you do, who you help, or just give people a reason to scroll down.

Your featured section is your sales page.
Put your best work, not your favourite work.
What builds trust? What proves value? Lead with that.

You don’t need to be loud. You don’t need to post daily.

But if you want to be seen?

Make people stop scrolling.

To everyone who’s followed, liked, commented, shared, or read my LinkedIn posts, thank you. I genuinely appreciate your support.
